3D MODELLING
3D Modeling is incredibly useful tool for Design and Engineering disciplines, it allows to visualize a hand sketch or concept in 3D space without having to invest in creating a physical prototype.
Modeling allows evaluation of parts functionality within an assembly, able to check for collisions between parts and show obscure flaws in design.
FEA can be performed on 3D Solid Models given material properties and external loading. Model Analysis can simulate internal stresses and deformations which can be calculated depending on local mesh concentrations.
